A 1000 m2 fit-out in Canberra City for Sparke Helmore Lawyers showcased the versatility of glazed aluminium sliding doors. Each individual office sports a sleek black glazed door, making for easy access to offices while maintaining the flow of natural light.
The fit-out included a stylish new kitchenette and striking curved front desk, where visitors are welcomed to the workspace.

Series 4000 Zero Clearance Sliding Door System
Series 4000 is Aluform’s Zero Clearance top hung sliding door system. With a slim profile – only 32mm – the sections match in perfectly with Series 1000 partition suite. Like the partition suite, the glazing pockets accept up to 12.38mm laminate glass. Without a bottom track, the system eliminates trip hazards and interruptions to flooring.
A concealed base guide keeps doors in line and sliding straight, while timber and aluminium doors can both be used – and the system’s rollers can accommodate doors that weight up to 120kg.
Custom Timber Door Manufacturing
Aluform has recently invested in specialised machinery to produce custom timber doors. Our machinery allows for any type of machinings to any door – right from simple mortice cut-outs on solid timber doors, to automatic drop seals in aluminium doors and cable transfer preparation for secure area doors. The machinings are extremely accurate, are completed in a very short turnaround, and reduce time spent on-site considerably!
In this project, Aluform pre-morticed the timber doors, added glazed vision panels to some, and completed cut-outs for door furniture.
