About The Project
An office refurbishment for the Lower Molonglo branch of Icon Water, in Holt ACT.
A vibrant space featuring statement blues and warm timbers, the work areas are enhanced with a high-acoustic Pinnacle ceiling and timber-look acoustic panels on some walls.
Designed by CK Architecture and built by Built Australia and MNS Interiors.
Pinnacle Ceiling Tiles
The Icon Water project specified the use of the NCS Pinnacle ceiling tile – a high acoustic, fleece-faced tile ideal for high-importance spaces.
This tile has an NRC 0.7 and CAC 40, and these values, combined with a light reflectance (LR) value of 0.89, make for an aesthetic space with a modern feel. This is a ceiling that works hard and blends into the background, providing an optimal canvas for creative expression while maintaining privacy.
These panels were supplied in a 600 x 600mm configuration, on the NCS TRIDENT ceiling grid.
Series 4000 Bottom Rolling
Sliding doors on this project used the Series 4000 Bottom Rolling system. This system seamlessly integrates with the Series 1000 Partition Suite, accommodating the active panel and fixed panel within a 101mm frame.
The floor track is designed to finish flush with carpet, and was supplied in a black anodise finish for this project; eliminating scratches from the rollers in the door.
This system is rated for a door leaf up to 200kg in weight and 3000mm high, ideal for 45mm aluminium glazed doors or 45mm solid core timber doors.
