About The Project
A warm-toned, luxurious fit-out in the Russell Precinct for a government agency.
Texture played a special role in this fit-out, from the joinery, to angular acoustic feature ceiling tiles and leather-wrapped pull handles on the sliding doors.

Series 4000 Zero Clearance
Aluform’s newest sliding door system, Series 4000 Zero Clearance is a slimline, versatile system that can carry doors up to 120kg in weight and 1200mm wide.
The track has a 32mm profile, matching in with Aluform’s partition suites, and allows only 5mm of clearance: creating an effortlessly sliding door. A concealed bottom guide means no interruptions to flooring, and no bottom track. The system is adaptable for both timber and aluminium glazed doors.
Additionally, the receiving stile section has provision for three seals, assisting in softening the shutting action and improving acoustics. And the system has provision for a soft-close unit, which makes for optimal user experience.

Aluminium Doors
Aluform manufactures aluminium-framed doors, called Aludoors, in-house.
On this project, the doors were manufactured in a Satin Black finish, which is kept in stock at Aluform. These doors are ideal for shutting off spaces while still allowing natural light to flow through an area.
Making the doors in-house means our team can ensure that they fit their frames perfectly, and are able to be installed very easily. Additionally, the doors can be cut out for mortice locks and other door hardware, saving installers hours of intensive labour on site.
For sliding door applications, doors are also supplied with blocks and cut-outs for rollers, again ensuring smooth installation.
