Denman Prospect’s new Community Centre is now home to an early learning centre, thanks to AMC Architecture and Nikias Diamond.
The efficient, functional space features space-saving cavity sliding doors and stately monument partition framing, and incorporates a playground outside for children.

Series 9000 Partition Suite
One of Aluform’s high acoustic partition suites, the Series 9000 is capable of achieving ratings up to Rw46!
For this project, the frames were powder coated in Dulux’s Colorbond Monument, complete with matching gluefix skirting. Monument frames tie in well with the timber joinery and patterned furniture.
In some areas, one glazing pocket was closed off with pocket flush filler sections, to create a front-glaze aesthetic. One benefit of this application is known as “future-glazing” – where a client can decide in the future they would like to upgrade to double-glazing, and the pocket flush fillers can be removed and replaced with glazing. This minimises overall spend on the project.
Like all of Aluform’s partition suites, adaptors can be used to switch between different glazing configurations: front, double, centre and offset. This highlights the versatility and adaptability of the frames.
AluGlide Cavity Sliders
Along with aluminium sliding doors, Aluform manufactures aluminium-frame cavity sliders to order. These are a great way to install a sliding door while saving space, as the doors slide back into the frame of the wall.
Aluform’s cavity sliders can be manufactured in custom configurations as well as standard sliders: corner-meeting, double units and more are available on request of our team.
These can also be powder coated to match door frames and partition glazing.
