ALUFORM RETURN POLICY

Subject to the terms and conditions detailed in this policy and the Aluform Terms and Conditions of Trade, a customer (“Buyer”) may return goods (“Goods”) purchased from HD & KM Brewer t/as Aluform Interior Supplies (“Seller”).

1. Defective or Incorrect Goods

1.1 The Buyer shall inspect the Goods on delivery and shall within seven (7) business days of delivery notify the Seller of any alleged defect, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with the description or quote. The Buyer shall afford the Seller an opportunity to inspect the Goods within a reasonable time following delivery if the Buyer believes the Goods are defective in any way. Photographs showing the extent and location of the damage may be required for a damage claim to be approved. If the Buyer shall fail to comply with these provisions, the Goods shall be conclusively presumed to be in accordance with the terms and conditions and free from any defect or damage.

1.2 For defective or incorrect supply of Goods, if agreed by the Seller in writing that the Buyer is entitled to reject, the Seller will issue the Buyer with a Goods Return Authorisation Form. The Seller’s liability is limited to either (at the Seller’s discretion) issuing a credit for the value of the Goods, replacing the Goods or repairing the Goods provided that:

(a) the Buyer has complied with the provisions of clause 1.1;

(b) the Goods (other than defective goods which the Seller has authorised may be disposed of) are returned at the Seller’s cost within fourteen (14) business days of the delivery date with a valid Goods Return Authorisation Form;

(c) the Seller will not be liable for Goods which have not been stored or used in a proper manner;

(d) the Goods are returned in the condition in which they were delivered and with all packaging material in as new condition as is reasonably possible in the circumstances.

2. Non-Defective Goods

2.1 In the case of non-defective Goods, the Buyer must notify the Seller of its intention to return Goods within seven (7) business days of receipt of those Goods. Upon such notification, the Seller will issue the Buyer with a Goods Return Authorisation Form.

2.2 The Goods must be returned at the Buyer’s cost within fourteen (14) days of the delivery date with a valid Goods Return Authorisation Form.

2.3 The Seller will process a credit for the value of the returned Goods only after the Goods have been returned and examined by the Seller, and provided that:

(a) the Buyer has complied with the provisions of clause 2.1 and 2.2;

(b) the Seller has determined that the Goods are in saleable condition;

(c) the Seller will not be liable for Goods which have not been stored or used in a proper manner;

(d) the Goods are returned in the condition in which they were delivered and with all packaging material in as new condition as is reasonably possible in the circumstances.

2.4 The return of non-defective Goods will incur a handling fee of 15% of the value of the returned Goods, plus any freight.

3. Exclusions

3.1 The Seller will not issue a credit to the Buyer under any of the following circumstances:

(a) in the case of non-defective Goods that have been custom manufactured, or are a non-stock item that have been ordered by the Seller by request of the Buyer;

(b) in the case of open boxes of ceiling tiles and timber doors (due to the fragile nature of these products and ease in which they can be damaged in handling rendering them not re-saleable, these products will not be accepted for return, unless deemed defective by the Seller);

(c) the Goods were not purchased directly from the Seller;

(d) the Buyer is not able to provide satisfactory proof or purchase evidence to the Seller.
